Feeling Great!

Sorry I didn't post yesterday. I was supper busy. Had to do all the running around for the dinner Monday and try to find my Mom something for her birthday. I couldn't find anything for her. So DD came up with making Nana a scrapbook. So we went to the craft store and starting looking at stuff. I came across their wonderful frames and all of a sudden got a great idea. So this morning DD and I sat down to make these frames for Nana. I absolutely love them!





I'm sure mom will too!

So, WW is going great. I am having a little trouble using all of my daily points. I find that I am having a treat that's worth a few points just to use them all up. I don't like doing it.. But I don't know what else to do LOL. I've moved up 5 minutes on the elliptical. May sound funny, but my face feels different. Its almost like it feels light or less of a double chin. Hopefully on my Monday weigh in, I lost a few pounds. I luck out a little bit cause my WI is the morning of the turkey dinner. :D
Therefore, I'll have all week to work off these extra 35 points of mine that I'm sure I'll gobble up!

I went and bought a new pair of jeans at Winners yesterday. I ended up with a huge gash in my leg! For some reason the pin that goes on the security feature that they put on clothes to stop shoplifters, while there was one in the pocket! So of course when I went to slide in these jeans, the damn thing scratched me! I was not happy. I should have made a compliant, but I know nothing would have been done so I didn't even bother!

Well my monster is wanting to go outside and collect colorful leafs. So off for a walk we go. I'll be sure to post again later, or tomorrow :D

I'm lovin it!

Haha.. No not McDonald's! But, Weight Watchers!!
I feel great. This is day 4 and I haven't felt bloated or like I over ate in.. 4 days!
Yesterday was a good day. I went for a 40 minute walk, and rode the elliptical for a total of 25 minutes. I did 10 in the morning and 15 after dinner. Its amazing how great you feel after you do it. Watching TV while exercising, sure does make a difference! I don't even notice the time so much. Either way.. it felt good to finally getting back on it. Today I will of course get back on it again, and go for two 15 minute sessions.

I managed to drink 5 bottles of water yesterday. Seriously I think that's the most ever in one day for me. I felt like I was going to the bathroom every 10 minutes! LOL But, drinking the water kept the snacking to a minimum. I actually used all my daily points and .5 points of my weekly ones. I have 9 activity points sitting there and honestly I don't think they will get used.

I am looking forward to this weekend. On Monday, Mom is coming from up North for dinner. Its been a while since we saw her. "H" is really excited to see Nana. Mom's birthday is today so "H" has been drawing pictures and making cards for Nana at school.
I am not so worried about this weekend. I LOVE turkey!! I've discussed with "D" the desserts and stuffing. We both agreed that we are not making the traditional "Native Stuffing" this year. Man, one scoop of that it will be 20 points! Haha, no I don't know.. but it sure will be up there. I have decided to make my lovely Apple Crisp for dessert like every year, and Pumpkin Pie for Mom and the kids. I don't like it so I'm not to worried about eating it!

Anyways, I am now done my tea.. So off to my exercise mission I go. :D

OK.. Its not so bad!

Day one was hard! Day two.. not so bad! I actually had a hard time getting all my points yesterday. I made a yummy chili! And it was only 4 points a serving!?!? Kinda crazy if you ask me! Well, to make up some points I made homemade tea biscuits.. to go with the chili. They were oohh soo good! Turned out to be a great meal! When I was about to go to bed, I still had 6 points so I made myself a hot chocolate to sip on in bed. Mmm!

Today I finally got on that dang elliptical! I only did it for 12 minutes and then my legs were weak! Yes, that's how out of shape I am! I was actually disappointed with myself. I remember around this time last year when I used to ride it for about 30 minutes. Oh well.. I sure hope I can get back up to that soon. I am going to go on it again tonight after dinner for another 10 minutes. I am also going to go for a nice cold walk after I am done writing. It's FREEZING out side. I think the kids just might end up trick or treating in a little snow! Its extremely windy outside, and has been raining off and on. But, I must get this walk in.. Even if its only 20 minutes or so. Well after saying that, I should go now before I don't want to go anymore! LOL.

Day one is over!

Made it through the first day!
Seriously that was a little hard. I felt hungry most of the day.
But, I must say that I am proud of myself! I didn't go over my points! Actually I had 8.5 to spare before I went to bed. It was hard not to lay in bed and snack last night. I could hear and feel my belly grawling at me, as if to say "please feed me". I didn't give in. I rolled over and went to sleep. I woke up starving this morning! I am not a breakfast person, usually I don't eat until 11-11:30am. So this is new to me. I guess its good because I'm supposed to eat breakfast! Anyways this is what I ate yesterday.

Breakfast: 1 Nutri-Grain bar & 3 Egg whites
Snack: Raw Celery with 2 tsp of peanut butter
Lunch: 1 cup of Vegetable Soup
Snack: 37 Goldfish crackers
Dinner: Whole Wheat pasta with mini meat balls
Snack: 3 cups of plain air popped popcorn
Water: 3 bottles


Doesn't seem so bad when I look at what I ate, but only actually eating that I felt starved all day! I am hoping that this hunger throughout the day wont last forever! I only earned 2 activity points yesterday. Shame on me! I told myself all day to get on the elliptical and I never did!

And so it begins!



Last Night I joined WW. I am actually really excited for this.
My start weight is 234.5! YIKES!
I am hoping I can lose at least 30 pounds by January!
We are going on Vacation back to Cuba, we were just there in March. But, I was like 15-20 pounds lighter!!
I am so looking forward to the trip.. but I don't want to go at the size I am now.


So my exercise goal: I want to walk at least 60 minutes a day, and ride my elliptical for approximately 15-20 to start.. (around 10 minutes my legs feel week.. I push myself to 15-20), After a week or so, once my body gets use to a little exercise again, I want to start doing lunges and squats! That will have to wait! LOL, I can't rush into things and be in pain!

So today it begins! I hope I can really stick to this!! Wish me luck :D
